The ocean is a great master. It lives, ever-moving, never still. With each wave that meets the golden shore, it pulls me into the present moment. The ocean reminds me to let goโno matter how far my steps have carried me, the next wave will wash them away into the sunrise.
When I swim in the ocean, it carries me, like a mother cradling her child. When I speak to the ocean, it answers, revealing the wonders of the world. It takes my worries and dissolves them into its depths. And at night, as I drift into sleep, it stays with me, singing me into rest.
The ocean draws me closer to God, for only God could justify such beauty. One day, I will no longer beโbut the waves will still echo against the shores, just as they did long before I arrived.
